Aerial Platform Tracks

McLaren offers two types of premium aerial work platform rubber tracks that guarantee maximum stability and safety for workers:

  • Next Generation Rubber Tracks
  • Maximizer® Rubber Tracks

Next Generation Rubber Tracks for Aerial Platforms

McLaren’s Next Generation Rubber Tracks are specially engineered to enhance the safety of workers accessing aerial work platforms. These high performance tracks eliminate strong vibrations in the undercarriage of the AWP and significantly improve stability. In OEM tests, Next Generation rubber tracks frequently outperform other rubber tracks on the market, a testament to their innovative design.

Below are some features and advantages of Next Generation Rubber Tracks for aerial platforms.

  1. Advanced Tread Pattern

The track tread pattern on Next Generation rubber tracks is uniquely designed to ensure a smoother and safer operation as you utilize the aerial platform. Vibration is greatly reduced which, not only leads to a more stable, smooth operation of the aerial platform, but also protects the undercarriage of the AWP from mechanical wear. The specially formulated tread pattern improves the track’s grip with ground surfaces, enhancing traction as you maneuver the AWP.

  1. McLaren’s SpoolRite Belting Technology

Next Generation rubber tracks are constructed on the bedrock of SpoolRite Belting Technology. McLaren has invested years and year on the research and development of their cutting-edge SpoolRite Belting Technology. This has led to a significant improvement in the strength and durability of their rubber track systems. The steel links used to reinforce the tracks are non-overlapping, continuous and joint-less, eliminating potential weak spots along the belt. This has increased the tensile strength of the steel belt, preventing track breakage and reducing machine downtime. The life expectancy of the tracks is increased.

The steel used in the embedded belt is heat-treated carbon forged steel which is extremely resilient and strong, allowing the tracks to withstand and support heavy loads. The steel links, unlike the cast iron links used by some aftermarket rubber track manufacturers, are also highly resistant to cracking and breaking.

  1. Highly Durable Rubber

Next Generation rubber tracks for aerial platforms are made with superior rubber compounds that make the tracks extremely durable under heavy loads. McLaren uses approximately 30% more rubber on their tracks than most other rubber track manufacturers. As a result, the rubber tracks are tough and puncture-resistant, thereby extending the service life of the track system and saving you maintenance costs.

  1. Non-Marking Option Available

When operating on sensitive surfaces, regular rubber tracks tend to damage these surfaces, leaving black marks. That is why McLaren also manufactures a non-marking version of Next Generation Rubber Tracks. These tracks can be used indoors on industrial floors, polished surfaces and parquet without leaving unsightly marks on these surfaces. They can also be used on delicate surfaces like turf.

  1. Size Availability

For convenience, McLaren produces Next Generation rubber tracks in two sizes: 180mm and 230mm (width).
