Benefits of McLaren’s Premium Skid Steer Tires
Below are the key features of McLaren’s line of skid steer tires that make them great for your skid steer operations:
Semi-Pneumatic Technology
McLaren’s cutting-edge, hybrid Semi-Pneumatic Technology combines the benefits of solid and pneumatic tires - the tires are durable and strong like solid tires but also offer the cushioning effect that traditional pneumatic tires provide.
Easy Installation (Rims Included)
All McLaren skid steer tires come with rims for easy installation. While Nu-Air XDT tires come securely bonded to rims, the other skid steer tires come with press-on rims.
Durability
McLaren takes particular care in the production processes involved in manufacturing the rubber for their skid steer tires. Only advanced, resilient and tough rubber compounds are used in the production of McLaren’s line of skid steer tires. These special rubber compounds are wear and puncture resistant. They last 3-5 times longer than your average pneumatic tire. Due to the sturdiness and toughness of the rubber, downtime caused by flats is eliminated, leading to an increase in overall productivity in your skid steer operations.
Cushioning and Operator Comfort
On the sidewalls of McLaren’s skid steer tires, you will find layers of multiple deep-cushioning apertures or holes. These are strategically placed to maximize shock absorption as the skid steer navigates demanding terrains. Not only does this bode well for the operator, providing a smooth cushioned ride as he or she operates, but the minimized vibration also protects components of the undercarriage from mechanical wear and damage.
Stability
Due to the additional layers of rubber used in McLaren’s skid steer tires, the center of gravity of your skid steer is lowered when using these tires. The extra weight of the tires improves the stability and optimizes the safety of your skid steer. Bouncing is drastically minimized even at high speeds.
Advanced Tread Design for Enhanced Traction
The tread surface of McLaren’s skid steer tires feature deep tread lugs for improved grip on ground surfaces. Traction is maximized as you navigate your skid steer over mud, sand and snow.
Self-Cleaning Capability
The advanced tread design of McLaren skid steer tires also give them a self-cleaning capability, preventing debris and sharp-edged objects typically found on work sites from getting stuck in the tires and damaging them.
Compatibility With Over-The-Tire Tracks
If you want to take your skid steer to the next level of extra traction, flotation and stability, you can pair your McLaren skid steer tires with over-the-tire tracks, also offered by McLaren.
